UPDATE: December 17, 2022 > The LGBTQ "agenda" was greatly advanced when President Biden signed the Defense of Marriage Act into law on December 13, 2022. Invited were special "guests" comprised of drag queens, supporters, and representatives of the LGBTQ group, plus other government officials. It took a sizable number of the members of Congress to get this abomination to the president's desk for signing! Christians who believe the Bible in its entirety and pastors who preach and teach it to be such will come under increased criticism coupled with a plethora of negative labels when they go on record that God's standard for marriage consists of one man and one woman living in a holy covenant with each other. God has never changed His mind on this when He declared that a man would leave his father and mother and cleave unto his wife and the two would become one flesh. This was stated early in the book of Genesis and Jesus confirmed this in His ministry.

UPDATE: June 23, 2022 > The following was written some years before the United States Supreme Court ruled in 2015 that same-sex couples could legally marry in all 50 states! Since that time the sodomite/lesbian juggernaut has been steamrolling over any and all resistence with very few exceptions. It has been very successful in many church groups with some pastors now perfoming marriages between two homosexuals or two lesbians in their churches. Mass media elements and the entertainment industry have jumped on board in giving strong support. Hallmark which HAD a reputation for excellent clean movies recently did a film depicting the wedding of two lesbians!

The subject of marriage saturates news media these days and it is a volatile subject in many of those cases when mentioned.

Same-sex marriage is reported as public officials break civil law in certain areas of the nation by making marriage licenses available to sodomite couples and lesbian couples!

In Canada there are provinces where same-sex couples can marry "legally" and no residency requirements exist. Many "couples" from the United States have taken advantage of this opportunity. In a number of cases these couples have reaped very positive news media publicity with the added plus of putting even more pressure on for unquestioned social acceptance of sodomite/lesbian lifestyles.

There is conflict over the proposed amendment to the constitution which basically will forbid same-sex couples from entering into marriage, thus limiting the institution of marriage to 1 male and 1 female -- no exceptions permitted!

The church has been under a frontal assault for quite some time as sodomites and lesbians storm the gates and demand full acceptance, inclusion, and recognition that same-gender coupling with adopted children is a perfectly normal and healthy way of life. So much so that it is on a par with a heterosexual married couple which conceives, bears, and raises children.

Hearken all you who have ears! Now comes a new "marriage" proposal of another kind as the drama of marriage plays itself out on the world's stage.

What is this proposal? It's a "marriage" between the sodomite/lesbian crowd along with its many supporters and sympathizers found in every niche of our society and that unique element within the church best identified as God-fearing Bible believing followers of the Lord Jesus Christ!

What's this? You are raising an objection to this romantic proposal? You are aware, are you not, that there are growing numbers of persons who say that people can be sexually active sodomites and lesbians and still be Christian in their faith so long as they are in "committed" monogamous relationships -- and it's not just sodomites nor lesbians making such a claim, but not a few heterosexuals make the same supportive statements!

Unhuh -- but that's where the great divide is and why the term "Bible believing" is used -- you see, there are still a few survivors who insist that God's revelation clearly condemns sodomy and lesbianism and tags it as an abomination -- never once does the Word of God give legitimate and positive sanction to the practice of sodomy and lesbianism!

To willfully live a life of defiance and rebellion against God's standards of acceptable moral behavior is to forfeit all rights to the claim of being a Christian. Jesus declared that a person will be identified for what he or she is by the nature of the "fruit" displayed in one's life -- a tree is known by the fruit it bears -- the good and the rotten, depending on whether one is resolved to obey God and conform to His moral laws or defy Him and produce the rotten, abominable kind of fruit!

The sodomite/lesbian crowd will always insist that due to modern "scholarship" all references to sodomy and lesbianism are to be understood in ancient cultural settings and really have no relevance to the 21st Century! Likewise there is still the claim based on supposed "scientific findings" that sodomites and lesbians are born "that way" and are attracted to persons of the same sex just as heterosexuals are attracted to those of the opposite sex.

The agenda of full acceptance and inclusion continues to be zealously pursued throughout our republic. And so, with "evidence" in hand the marriage proposal is pursued. Sadly, more and more persons are willing to enter into the "marriage" with little or no objection. Even those who claim to be "evangelical" are in the "courtship" stage.

"How is that?" you may ask. The answer is simple -- it's the tactic of "dialog" which the sodomites and lesbians have used very effectively. We sit down together and "dialog" with each other so that we can better understand each other -- show respect for each other -- and lovingly with a wink of the eye agree to disagree where we may not quite see eye to eye on some issues. As we play "footsies" with each other under the table we also sell our souls in conversation over the top of the table!

This gives us a "good" feeling and it presents a great witness to the world concerning our willingness to be about the business of the church even as we "agree to disagree" and keep those dialog sessions whipping along as we bring in the Kingdom of God on earth.

At all costs we do not become "judgmental" nor hang negative labels on each other. We need to remember that we are ALL "children of God."

What this graphically resembles is a monumental problem which the Israelites had during the times of the judges. They had been explicitly warned not to intermarry with the Canaanites. But let's let the Scriptures provide the record of this disaster in graphic detail:

So the children of Israel dwelt among the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites. And they took their daughters to be their wives, and gave their daughters to their sons; and they served their gods. So the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD. They forgot the LORD their God, and served the Baals and Asherahs. Therefore the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel, and He sold them into the hand of Cushan-Rishathaim king of Mesopotamia; and the children of Israel served Cushan-Rishathaim eight years.
Judges 3:5-8 NKJV

With the recent trial "victory" won by practicing lesbian pastor, Karen Dammann, and all the pietistic platitudes which have been uttered during the fallout of that debacle in Bothell, Washington, the pressure is greater than ever for the Bible believing element to exchange rings with the sodomite/lesbian crowd and make a commitment.

That commitment calls for the Bible believers to forsake the truth that same-gender coupling is indeed an abomination and under the condemnation of a holy God!

Further, that Bible believers are to embrace sodomites and lesbians, giving blanket approval to every facet of their lifestyles and to help them achieve their goals of full inclusion in the church and in society at large with all the special benefits and privileges now possessed by heterosexual married couples.

For those Bible believers who refuse the "proposal," the reason given is that this unholy alliance is no more compatible than:

    making an efficient working team out of an ox and a jackass!

    mixing motor oil and water into a perfect blended liquid!

    adding 1 pint of orange juice to 1 pint of arsenic in order to produce a healthy breakfast beverage for starting the day!

    putting a blind man in the seat of an Indianapolis 500 race car and expecting him to aggressively compete with all the other drivers and win the race!

    growing a beautiful flowering potted plant by feeding it liquid concentrated sulfuric acid daily!

    placing a pack of wolves and a herd of sheep in a field together and expecting very positive and profitable results!

It seems the greatest pressure for Bible believers to accept the "ring" and make the "commitment" comes at the point of dealing with the rhetoric hurled at them if they hesitate and refuse to enter into the "marriage." The sodomite/lesbian cartel has been highly successful in the use of labels placed on the foreheads of all who oppose it, starting with the "homophobic" label.

So when you are offered the ring and asked to commit to this "marriage" of another kind, will you accept it with a beaming smile on your face and hearty vocal "I do!"

will you with rock solid convictions based on God's clear revelation to us respond with a firm "I won't!" and pitch the "ring" of compromise into the

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people." Therefore "Come out from among them and be separate," says the Lord. "Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you. I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters," says the LORD Almighty. Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'
