Hello - Theo, C. D. Harriger's Administrative Assistant on Circuit Rider's Range, here to tell you that on March 19, 2003 the United States of America upon the high handed "bully pulpit" insistence of President George W. Bush invaded the sovereign nation of Iraq. This was done, according to the "reasoning" of President Bush, because Saddam Hussein was a very brutal dictator, a threat to world peace, an accumulator of weapons of mass destruction, a friend and supporter of terrorists, etc. etc. etc!
By the way, documentation has verified that the victims of Saddam's (along with his sons) brutal rule over the years totaled somewhere about a million or so. Check down the right column of the blog, Musings of a Maverick, and look for the title, "Saddam's Infamous "People Shredder" -- We Americans and Others Were Mortified!" It's just above the picture of a Marine. You'll learn a few more details about Saddam's brutality -- he was indeed an evil man -- but as you will learn, brutality was and most definitely is not confined to the nation of Iraq!
On the fifth anniversary of this "war" which has taken the United States billions of dollars deeper into debt, cost a few thousand U. S. military lives, added thousands of mutilated casualties resulting from road side bombs, torn up and divided families, there will be one statistic not noted by President Bush, his administration and the mass media. And it is highly unlikely the statistic will be noted in any churches, especially by the "mainlines" such as the Unied Methodist Church and others!
A statistic intentionally avoided since the United States’ invasion of Iraq on March 19, 2003:
Hey! Look at the Number
of Unborn Children Brutally
Mutilated & Murdered in USA
since the USA started "liberating" Iraq
from the brutality of Saddam Hussein!

Grand total of unborn victims since infamous Supreme Court decision of Roe v. Wade, January 22, 1973:

A Significant Selah Moment!
O LORD, how long shall I cry, and You will not hear? even cry out to You, "Violence!" And You will not save. Why do You show me iniquity, and cause me to see trouble? For plundering and violence are before me; there is strife, and contention arises. Therefore the law is powerless, and justice never goes forth. For the wicked surround the righteous; therefore perverse judgment proceeds.
Habakkuk 1:2-2 (NKJV)
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness....
It is time for You to act, O LORD, for they have regarded Your law as void. Therefore I love Your commandments more than gold, yes, than fine gold! Therefore all Your precepts concerning all things I consider to be right; I hate every false way.
Romans 1:18; Psalm 119:126-128 NKJV
