Flight 93 is immediately recognized by a high percentage of our population. This was a commercial flight involving one of four aircraft hijacked by terrorists on September 11, 2001.
It was the only one which failed to reach a likely intended target in Washington DC because some of the passengers heroically overpowered the hijackers who then lost control of the aircraft and it crashed in a rural area in south central Pennsylvania.
Very quickly on the heels of this event a detailed news article featured one of the passengers on Flight 93 who was labeled a "hero." The main emphasis, however, was on the fact that this very athletic person with a physique which witnessed to his being athletic was a homosexual activist. A large photo made a point of reminding the public that this individual was very normal looking -- in fact, even impressive due to his physical size. And the not so subtle message was that a person can be a homosexual and be willing to sacrifice his life if necessary in a heroic act, so therefore homosexuality should be viewed as being morally normal and acceptable!
At the same time the Bush administration has been appointing homosexuals to high profile positions at the federal level. One of these was the appointment of a homosexual as U.S. ambassador to Romania. This individual is getting comfortably established in his new position in the company of his loving "domestic partner!" The message to the American taxpayer -- homosexuality is a valid and normal lifestyle -- it has to be because look at the important positions held by homosexuals and this with the knowing approval of our president and Secretary of State, who administered the oath of office to the new ambassador to Romania!
In addition to this there are organized groups involving parents which highly publicize support for their gay and lesbian children. Certainly parents should be supportive of their children even in the most painful and troubling circumstances, but there is great difference between support and going beyond to become an advocate of the sodomite/lesbian lifestyle because one's son or daughter is considered "oriented" toward same gender sexual behavior! The message being spread through our culture is that my son or daughter is in a sexual relationship with someone of the same gender and therefore, because he is my son or she is my daughter, it is morally right to be in a same gender relationship sharing in sexual intimacy! In fact this relationship is just as morally right as is one involving a married male and female!
Let's pursue this logic a bit -- if acts of heroism, high profile government positions, and family relationships are produced as evidence that same gender coupling is morally good and our culture ought not to have even one individual who would question its legitimacy, are we prepared to open the gates and sanction other types of lifestyles?
Suppose Henry O'Killem whose profession is that of a Mafia "hit man" would have been a part of the group that overpowered the Flight 93 hijackers -- would his heroic act legitimize his lifestyle?
The president's advisors (or whoever makes such recommendations) submit the name of Henry O'Killem for a high level appointment in the administration. He seems to be highly qualified but he has chosen a profession in which he "eliminates" persons whom his Mafia superiors feel should no longer live and exist due to their being a threat to the "family!" And Henry wants to continue to do some special jobs for his Mafia superiors occasionally on a part time basis, since there always seem to be a few persons around who should be eliminated. Does Henry's high level appointment at the federal level establish the "hit man" profession as one which is morally legitimate and respectable?
Let's imagine that Henry's father and mother form an organization for parents of children such as they who also have children who are involved in eliminating persons by using the bullet in the brain procedure for their Mafia bosses. Just as some parents in their organization promote their children's same gender coupling lifestyle as legitimate, so Henry's folks and other parents promote the "hit man" profession as being a good thing, because their offspring have chosen it, or maybe they are simply "born that way!" And if my son, Henry, does it, it's OK isn't it?
How about Herman Lovemall? He's a practicing adulterer on a full time basis -- if Herman cut a notch in his belt for each affair he's had, he'd be going through belts faster than a wolf would go though lambs in a sheep pen! Does his act of heroism on a hijacked flight as he helps to overpower a group of terrorists place the stamp of approval on adultery as an optional lifestyle, and if adulterous heroes do it, then adultery must be a legitimate lifestyle option in our society!
The president has tapped Herman for a plush appointment in the administration -- something to do with family matters! While the president is aware of Herman's "orientation" to ignore the vows he made to his wife and indulge in one affair after another with other women, the appointment is made anyway. The president's press secretary explains that Herman's lifestyle is not an issue -- it is his ability to do the job that is of primary concern to the president and the basis for the appointment! So we can conclude again that high level appointments clearly suggest that alternate lifestyles are acceptable as long as the practitioners of those lifestyles do a good job for the president!
And Herman's parents (you guessed it) have formed P.F.A.S.A.D. (pronounced peee-façade) -- Parents For Adulterous Sons and Daughters! As has happened in the case of the parents with organizations that not only support sodomite sons and lesbian daughters but attempt through such to sell the American public on the idea that sodomite/lesbian lifestyles are morally correct and normal, so Herman's parents with P.F.A.S.A.D. are telling us that adultery is not really as bad as some adulterphobes have made it out to be! Herman is another one of those sad individuals who had to struggle for years with his sexual feelings, not understanding until he finally "came out" that he was born with a genetic makeup that makes it a natural thing for him to practice adultery!
Finally, Alfonse Likesabeast has a peculiar twist in his moral code -- he enjoys sexual intimacy with a young heifer he bought from a farmer. Her name is Rose. If Alfonse had been one of the heroes who had helped overpower the terrorists of Flight 93, would his act of heroism say that it's ok for us humans to engage in sexual activity with animals?
Again, suppose Alfonse is considered to be highly qualified for a presidential appointment as an ambassador to the newly formed Kingdom of Holstein -- in spite of the president being made aware that Alfonse will be taking Rose with him as he settles into his new appointment, the press secretary says that one's personal lifestyle is not an issue in presidential appointments! Doesn't this mean, then, that having a loving committed relationship with the preferred animal of your choice is simply an alternative lifestyle which should be just as acceptable as a man and a woman living together within the covenant of marriage?
As you might expect -- because Alfonse did experience some very negative experiences when he was younger due to animalphobic and bigoted persons, his mom and dad felt the need to draw together other parents whose offspring had this sexual attraction for animals. So in addition to broadcasting support for the kids, the organization which came into being was used by the parents to promote the legitimacy and acceptability of bestiality in American society. Their dream was that the movie, television, music and news media industries would begin to show bestiality in a more favorable light over time as has been done with the sodomite/lesbian lifestyles. Surely if they are patient, and keep up the pressure, they will win increased numbers over to their side who will reason that a loving committed relationship such as that existing between Alfonse and Rose simply can't be wrong!
Uh, uh -- don't go mentioning at this point that what has been just discussed is absolutely insane -- or bring up issues such as what is "right" or "wrong" in these examples -- and whatever you do, don't go dragging the Bible into this discussion and start quoting about things such as murder (Henry O.), adultery (Herman L.) or bestiality (Alfonse L.) -- I'm fully aware that the Bible says something about such activities, but you see that same Bible also says something about the practicing of sodomy and lesbianism as well. But the sodomite/lesbian cartel has ruled that what the Bible says about sodomy and lesbianism isn't really so, and it doesn't really apply to a couple of men who are in "love" with each other or likewise, two women! So it is on that basis then, that if the Bible doesn't really address nor forbid the practice of sodomy and lesbianism -- the key being "committed, loving relationships," then how can we say that any of the others are wrong? In Henry's case -- when he puts a bullet in the brain of someone the Mafia wants eliminated, the Bible's prohibition on murder doesn't apply, because for Henry this is an act of "love" -- love for his job, love for his superiors, and love for the victim because Henry sees this as an act of love by putting the victim out of his earthly misery! And the same reasoning could be used for Herman in his adultery and Alfonse in his love for his heifer, Rose! "Still a crazy thing," you say, "to try to distort and pervert the Bible like that!" Congrats to you, my friend! You just hit the jackpot as to what has been going on with the sodomite/lesbian cartel's agenda for the United States and other countries of this world!
So then, it's anybody's ball game in the arena of morality -- Henry O'Killem the professional Mafia hit man, Herman Lovemall the adulterer, and Alfonse Likesabeast the heifer lover have just as solid grounds for legitimizing their lifestyles as do members of the sodomite/lesbian cartel! Distort, twist, pervert, or deny a few portions of God's Word here and there and the Henry's, Herman's and Alfonses's of the world become kindred spirits with the same gender couplers, bathing in the same pool!
Given the Indy 500 pace of progress that the sodomite/lesbian cartel has made over just the past five years, it is more than reasonable to assume that the time will come when sodomites and lesbians will be granted the right to "marry" in eyes of state and church, legally adopt children anywhere in the U.S. and establish "families," and be ordained as pastors in many church groups!
Further, the time may also come when it will be a criminal offense to speak negatively against the same gender coupling lifestyle or for pastors to preach or teach against that lifestyle and labeling it as an abomination as has already been established by Almighty God in His inspired revelation to us! Uh, you know that it is the ultimate goal of the so called "hate crimes" legislation to put in place laws that will enforce what has just been mentioned, don't you?
One thing that has been made clear over the centuries is that playing games is but a temporary experience. We can play games with Scripture interpretation and application, quoting self-appointed "authorities" and "scholars" in order to support our immoral choices, and aggressively push an agenda which forces wholesale acceptance of our immorality by the culture of which we are a part.
But the final whistle will be blown by Almighty God signaling an end to all games humans have played in their confusion and blindness. Then comes the moment of truth and accountability -- and the vain ineffective effort to explain why Jesus Christ and His new covenant were rejected! Because to accept Him in a spirit of true repentance is to experience abundant life with the laws of God being written in the mind and heart, including God's moral laws regarding the experience and expression of human sexuality!
How about jolting the memory a bit with a few things God has revealed in His Word which is quite relevant to our times:
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
