"...even the unwanted have worth." - G. Bush - 05/01/20

"...even the unwanted have worth."
-- George W. Bush - 05/01/20

"Americans, at our best, value the life we see in one another, and must always remember that even the unwanted have worth. And our country must abandon all the habits of racism, because we cannot carry the message of freedom and the baggage of bigotry at the same time."

-- G.W. Bush - Inaugural Address - January 20, 2005

"…even the unwanted have worth." -- so it was stated by President George W. Bush in his Inaugural Address in Washington DC on January 20, 2005.

The main thrust of the address was freedom and democracy for all peoples throughout the world. Further, this nation will be committed to making democracy a reality for millions who are now oppressed by tyrannical systems of government.

Of special note is the phrase, "…even the unwanted have worth." The suggestion by the president is that those considered "unwanted" in nations which have harsh and unjust forms of government do indeed have dignity and worth -- such persons deserve to live in an environment similar to the kind to which our historical documents are referring when it is declared that all persons should have the "right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."

But there is a line drawn by the president on this issue -- while the "unwanted" applies to those in some unjust foreign setting, it does not apply to a large number of "unwanted" who have had the misfortune of making a very short start in life within the boundaries of the United States of America!

Those "unwanted" are the millions of unborn children who have been brutally mutilated and murdered before birth! The present rate of disposal of these "unwanted" in the "land of the free, and the home of the brave" is about 100,000 per month throughout the year.

Now then, it is time for a few hard questions:

President Bush claims to be "pro-life" and has proven to be the delight and joy of those in the "pro-life" movement. Just how aggressive has he been in pressuring the U.S. Congress and its leadership of the need to immediately nullify Roe v. Wade? Granted, from time to time he will briefly mention the issue of abortion -- but always, it will be brief -- and he will make a few statements during the annual March for Life in Washington DC each January. But at what other times does he really move the issue of the U.S. version of "holocaust" to the front burner of critical issues?

Watch this for 60 to 90 seconds
    and see what happens!

President Bush was very aggressive regarding Saddam Hussein and the urgent need to remove him and his sons from power due to the cruelty and injustice inflicted by them on the Iraqi people. Estimates are that there were 1 million victims as a result of the Hussein family's reign of terror over the years. BUT why is there not the same intense aggression and accompanying publicity shown regarding barbarous practices within U.S. borders which destroy thousands of unborn children each week?

President Bush has made a major issue out of the Social Security financial crisis and the need to "fix" it for the sake of future retirees. Why does he not stress the fact that the S.S. system is in the financial mess in which it presently finds itself in part due to the fact that millions who would be now paying millions of dollars into the S.S. system AREN'T because they were destroyed in the womb before they were born! The oldest of these victims of the U.S. brand of "holocaust" would now be getting into their 30's!

The president has the influence by which he could cause the members of Congress to at least think a bit on this if he would raise the issue and punctuate it with the point that maybe we ought to quit destroying future citizens at the rate of over 1 million per year!

And it could also be noted that we are a poorer nation as a result of those exterminated millions, who, if they had been permitted to live would not just have made significant financial contributions into Social Security, but would have enhanced the well being of our republic by use of their abilities and developed skills!

Bush identifies with the "evangelical" element of professed Christian faith and "evangelicals" who have met with him have nothing but loads of praise for the president -- he is truly one of their own!

Does an "evangelical" whether he be an elected official, a TV preacher, pastor, teacher, or a church pew occupier on Sunday mornings have a responsibility to make known the eternal truth that God has identified every conceived human being before this world was created and this same God has also plainly revealed that He has a specific plan for each human being -- and this plan has existed in His mind before this mighty universe was brought into existence by spoken command?

Further, does an "evangelical," whether he/she be a lay person or clergy, have a solemn responsibility to sound the warning that if the abominable practice of destroying unborn children is not terminated, then Almighty God will terminate the existence of the offending society by means of His righteous wrath and judgment!

That possibility, of course, is dismissed by many who claim to be "evangelical" in their profession of faith -- even among these is the appeal that this nation is a "Christian" nation -- the people of the United States are a people of "faith" with just a few minor issues to work out, but we have all the time in the world to bring about the changes, including abortion! At best, this possible judgment will not happen any time soon!

The end of "abortion on demand" in the U.S.A? If under a president who claims to be "pro-life" and "evangelical" in his faith nothing of substance has been or is being done to stop the "hemorrhaging" what can we expect if we get a "pro-abortion" president next time around? That is, if God chooses not to make a direct response to our daily routine of destroying hundreds of unborn children before then!

One response to all this may be that President Bush signed into law a bill which outlaws partial birth abortion -- BUT that law is being challenged and some judges already have ruled it unconstitutional -- so the battle is not settled on that! Are you aware as to the difference in numbers of partial birth abortions and that of all others not done in partial birth style?

And are you aware that future judicial appointments at the federal level must go through the Senate Judiciary Committee, of which pro-abortion PA Senator Arlen Specter is now chairman? And who contributed in major fashion to his reelection? "Pro-life" President G. W. Bush and "pro-life" PA Senator Rick Santorum spent time in the Keystone State campaigning for Arlen Specter -- it is recognized that their visits to PA enabled Specter to defeat pro-life Congressman Pat Toomy by just a few thousand votes in the spring 05 primary!

Meanwhile, there is no opportunity for huge numbers of the "unwanted" in the United States to experience the "right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness!"

A Significant Selah Moment!

O LORD, how long shall I cry, and You will not hear? even cry out to You, "Violence!" And You will not save. Why do You show me iniquity, and cause me to see trouble? For plundering and violence are before me; there is strife, and contention arises. Therefore the law is powerless, and justice never goes forth. For the wicked surround the righteous; therefore perverse judgment proceeds.
Habakkuk 1:2-2 (NKJV)

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness....

It is time for You to act, O LORD, for they have regarded Your law as void. Therefore I love Your commandments more than gold, yes, than fine gold! Therefore all Your precepts concerning all things I consider to be right; I hate every false way.

Romans 1:18; Psalm 119:126-128 NKJV
