Obama inherited a nation with a massive amount of innocent blood on its hands with the practice of the shedding of innocent blood continuing at the rate of 25,000 victims per week. Grand total since the U. S. Supreme Court ruled that a female has a "constitutional right" to terminate the life of her unborn child if she so chooses is over 51 million innocent victims in what is appropriately identified as the United States' version of holocaust! Will the president seek to end this slaughter? No, he is on record as being a staunch supporter of the practice and will oppose any effort to restrict the practice in any way whatsoever. The judges he appoints to the Supreme Court will absolutely guarantee that Roe v. Wade will stay in place -- well, that is, until Almighty God makes His response to the daily practice of mutilating and murdering unborn children!
Obama inherited a nation that is wallowing in idolatry with the recognition and appreciation for Almighty God a fast disappearing reality among the 305 million citizens of our republic. As it stands now less than half of our citizens can find their way to a place of worship on a Sunday morning. The "god" of pleasure beckons with a commanding voice on Sunday and offers a buffet style of possibilities when it comes to activities and amusements! Since Obama has demonstrated that Sunday is just another day in the week there will be no significant changes here, since you "lead" by example!
Obama inherited a nation that has lost its prestige in the world and no longer receives the respect it once did decades ago. Perhaps the high water mark for respect for the U.S. came at the conclusion of WW II. Erosion began to set in with the Korean "police action" as they called it and the conclusion was not an unconditional surrender as demanded at the ending of WW II, but rather a "negotiated" settlement. Obama's actions so far at the international level provide iron clad proof that the United States will continue to be the target of scorn and ridicule throughout the world. Little does he know that there is a Biblical reason and explanation as to why our republic is being so humiliated in these times.
Obama inherited a nation that is hopelessly in debt. G. W. Bush's approach to national financial matters resulted in a great increase in the national debt. However, he appears to be an amateur at piling up debt when it comes to a real pro such as President Obama. In just a few months Obama has taken the country on a spending spree such as it has never been on in its entire history. Just one major problem -- it wasn't a matter of spending money we had on hand, but rather the spending of money WE DID NOT HAVE! China alone owns about one trillion dollars of the debt. It will be interesting to see what might happen if the Chinese come knocking on the door and saying, "It is time to pay up!"
Obama inherited a nation plagued with pandemic sexual immorality. A by-product of such activity is an increase in sexually transmitted diseases (STD's). The Center for Disease Control not so long ago released just one shocking set of statistics. One out of every 4 teen-aged females has at least one STD and some have more than one! That is just one age group and one gender! Who knows what is going on in the lives of females over 19 as well as the males at all age levels. Recently reported was the fact that senior citizens are also experiencing an increase in STD's because they think there is no problem involving birth control and seem to be very ignorant of the fact that STD's are no respecter of age -- even old age! Obama will be very tight lipped on such a subject as this.
Obama inherited a nation in which the vast majority of the young are taught the "gospel" of the origin of life starting with very low life forms -- you know, something wriggling in a mud puddle and kept evolving through long periods of time until we have arrived at what we are today! Evolution is often presented as "fact" and the supernatural acts of creation by Almighty God are denied in the overwhelming majority of classrooms across this republic. The way of evolution leads to one destructive conclusion -- once you convince people God was not involved in our beginnings and may not even exist anyway, then you have a free-for-all when it comes to determining your lifestyle, system of ethics, human relationships and responsibility. Everyone determines for him/herself what is to be or not be because there is no absolute authority -- only the shifting sands of government of which Barack Hussein Obama, his people, the U.S. Congress and the U.S. Supreme Court are dramatic examples at the moment!
Yes, I do indeed agree that President Obama inherited a lot of undesirable things from George W. Bush as he assumed the office of president during the third week of January 2009.
